Case study · WebGL and PlayFab

Phishing awareness game in Unity WebGL with PlayFab

    The challenge

Training content only works if people actually play it. The game had to run in a browser with nothing to install, let players sign in with email, give them a reason to come back through leaderboards, and give the client data on how players engage.

    What I built

    • A Unity WebGL game that runs in the browser
    • PlayFab email authentication
    • PlayFab leaderboards
    • PlayFab analytics on player behaviour
    • In game collection of player feedback

    Results

    • Built for the same client as the VR training game shown at GISEC Global
    • Playable instantly in the browser with no install
